Monero (XMR)

Monero (XMR) is a cryptocurrency developed with the goal of providing maximum financial privacy. It uses unique technologies that make it possible to hide senders, recipients, and transaction amounts. All transactions on the Monero network are anonymous by default.

Monero — Private Transactions, RingCT, and Decentralization

At the core of Monero are technologies such as Ring Confidential Transactions (RingCT), one-time stealth addresses, ring signatures, and the Dandelion++ protocol for hiding network activity. These mechanisms make it virtually impossible to trace the flow of funds.

Monero does not have a fixed supply limit: once the main mining phase is complete, a “tail emission” is activated to continuously incentivize network security. The project is fully decentralized, has no ties to commercial organizations, and is maintained by its community.
